Responsibilities:
- Assists with planning and coordinating the bi-weekly reading/literacy program
- Assists with research on appropriate reading materials for the elementary age group that reflect Regent University’s values.
- Assists with creating and delivering interactive reading and literacy activities for children.
- Assists with gathering and analyzing feedback from participants and parents regarding the effectiveness of the reading/literacy programs.
Requirements:
- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear, effective manner
- Ability to follow instructions and work with a team
- Self-motivated to complete a work schedule and follow through with tasks
- Must be able to work effectively and responsibly with children and parents
- Must have basic computer literacy
