The Registration Specialist is responsible for functions that contribute to the enrollment of new students and their completion of Semester Check-In. 

Essential duties:

  • Provide extraordinary customer service with each admitted, deposited, and enrolled student. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge on University culture and programs while effectively advising students on their next steps through the admissions funnel. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge on all student-related resources including admissions processes, financial aid, costs, transfer guidelines, licensure guidelines, military benefits, and other pertinent information to assist with sales-related conversations. 
  • Make a high volume of outbound phone calls, receive inbound calls, and maintain comprehensive student records through the correct use of technology while maintaining confidentiality. 
  • Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each term as determined by Enrollment Management leadership while adhering to dynamic, internal work processes. 
  • Learn and retain all new and job-related content presented for the utilization in daily work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required 
  • 1-2 years advising, customer service, sales and/or telemarketing/teleconsulting experience is strongly recommended but not required
  • Must be motivated, coachable, and be effective in a production-driven work environment
