Responsibilities:

  • Provide social media support for RSG faculty
  • Assist with logistical planning and execution for student organization special events, including luncheons, school functions, and guest speakers
  • Assist with Robertson School of Government events
  • Complete research and writing projects

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience creating and posting content to social media sites including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of basic video editing software
  • Beginning graphic design knowledge a plus
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and compose letters, minutes, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Strong sense of initiative and a high level of efficiency in completing work with limited supervision
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, and to use diplomacy and discretion regarding student information
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to innovate for process simplification or improvement
  • High level of professionalism and courtesy
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills
