Assistant Professor of Practical Theology for Regent University School of Divinity, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The Assistant Professor of Practical Theology is a full-time faculty tenure-track position in Renewal Theology, Spiritual Formation within Church History, and Systematic Theology at Regent University School of Divinity.
Job duties include instruction of on-campus and online courses in Renewal Theology and Spiritual Formation within Church History, and Systematic Theology to Master’s and Doctoral level students, advising students regarding academic activities, serving as chairperson on thesis and dissertation committees, and developing a professional portfolio of teaching, research, and service in the area of Renewal Theology and Spiritual Formation.
Position requires Doctor of Philosophy or equivalent degree from accredited college, seminary, or university in the field of Renewal Theology with emphasis on Spiritual Formation within Church History and Systematic Theology, and minimum of 36 months’ experience in higher education at an accredited university, and a minimum five (5) years of ministry experience, which may be earned concurrently and Certificate of Ordination. Demonstrated proficiency in relevant field is required and applicants are expected to understand and adhere to Regent articles of belief if hired. Candidate must demonstrate a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
Wage Range: $52,000.00 to $73,000.00 to commensurate with experience.
