Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill an adjunct faculty position in the History Program of the Humanities Department. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, Virginia, campus. Specifically, the ideal candidate will teach an on-campus section of Western Civilization II (1500 - Present) in the Spring 2026 semester, which is scheduled for MW 8:10 - 9:35 AM. 

Qualifications: an earned MA in history from a regionally-accredited institution. The candidate should also have a primary focus on early modern or modern European History. The candidate should be able to teach undergraduate history courses and interdisciplinary courses in our General Education curriculum. Candidates will be expected to teach on-campus."

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
