The PM Supervisor oversees front- and back-of-house operations during dinner service. This role will supervise student workers, support the kitchen team, ensure smooth buffet service, handle cash reporting, and complete closing procedures. The PM Supervisor leads by example with Christ-like character, maintains a clean and welcoming environment, and ensures guests are well cared for while upholding Regent University’s mission and values.

Essential duties:

  • Supervise and support student workers during the dinner shift; assign duties and ensure accountability.
  • Oversee kitchen staff during dinner service; ensure timely execution of the menu and quality presentation.
  • Monitor guest experience and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the dining room.
  • Enforce student worker expectations and promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and stewardship.
  • Communicate inventory shortages, equipment concerns, or guest feedback to the Director.
  • Support evening events or catering functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food service, kitchen operations, or hospitality required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to supervise a mixed team
  • Able to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable and proactive with a strong attention to detail
  • Committed to servant leadership and mentoring younger team members
  • Flexible schedule; must be available for evening and weekend shifts
  • SERV Safe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Candidates must have:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Great communication and leadership skills
