Essential Functions:
• Represent Regent University School of Law as a recruiter primarily for the JD and LLM programs and also for the MA program as potential candidates are identified or on an as-needed basis.
• Stay current on other programs and policies that are important to applicants (i.e. admissions protocol, financial aid, international admissions, military affairs, student housing, etc.)
• Provide extraordinary customer service by making an intentional emotional connection with each prospective student, applicant, and enrolled student with whom Regent communicates via telephone.

Make a high volume of outbound phone calls to prospective students and applicants who have requested information about Regent University School of Law. Make inbound calls and have follow up discussions related to the next steps in the admissions process, enrollment and post-enrollment.

Answer simple and complex admissions related questions on a variety of programs and degrees.
• Counsel and qualify students on program fit, admissions requirements, financial aid processes, transfer guidelines, licensure, and military-related issues.

Coordinate and participate in admissions and recruitment events as required.
• Serve as the first and primary point of contact for all JD students’ financial aid questions.
• Act as a liaison with Student Financial Aid (SFA) to expedite (if unusual circumstances exist to
make it necessary to do so) and provide customer service for scholarship adjustments, loans, and resolve other financial aid situations as they arise
• Maintain and expand as needed, written and electronic materials explaining the school’s financial aid program and opportunities as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 1-2 years admissions/advising, customer service, sales and/or telemarketing/tele counseling preferred
- Prior experience in university admissions and/or advising recruitment helpful
- An appropriate competence and comfort level with Microsoft Office software required; Knowledge and experience with LSAC Unite Platform, Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems. Student Information Systems (SIS) and Blackboard preferred.

Strong organizational abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport with a diverse customer base
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to work second shift hours ( 12pm-9pm) and rotating Saturdays
• An understanding of strategies needed to effectively market to targeted student population is desirable
• Ability to make decisions, work independently, and be a team player.
• Availability to support on-campus recruiting endeavors after hours—on weeknights and weekends when needed
