Teaching Assistants (TAs) will assist a full-time faculty member in an SOD master's level course. This is an unpaid position available for academic credit only. 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Blackboard in a live course under supervision
  • Basic communication with students in the course as requested by the instructor
  • Facilitating discussion board forums under the supervision of the instructor

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be a current student in the School of Divinity Ph.D. program
  • Application is required for students enrolling in DGEN 780 Teaching Practicum, which is offered in Fall and Spring semesters only
  • Application must be received at least 8 weeks prior to the start of the semester the student wishes to enroll in DGEN 780
  • TAs will be considered unpaid employees of Regent University and must meet all requirements of a Regent University employee, including references, a background check, and a signed Statement of Faith
