Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach the following subjects on the Virginia Beach Campus as evening classes:  Teaching Reading in the Elementary Grades and Teaching Reading and Language Arts Across the Curriculum. A Ph.D., Ed.D, or terminal degree in the subject area is preferred. The candidate must have a master’s degree in education or related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the subject area from a regionally accredited institution. The candidate is also required to hold a current Virginia teaching license with a reading specialist endorsement. Prior college teaching experience is preferred.

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) familiarity with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
