Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA

We seek scholars who can support the current varied Business curriculum and potentially build unique course offerings to prepare students for careers in their chosen industry. The regional accrediting body requires a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours or extensive experience in a discipline in order for the candidate to teach a subject. Preference will be given to candidates who have professional certifications and the credit hours and flexibility to teach multiple subjects within the Business disciplines. Candidates with some industry-related experience preferred. Candidates will be asked to teach a combination of Management, HR and Business courses

Expectations include: 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) experience with online instructional technology (i.e. Canvas); 5) candidates will also be required to review and update curriculum for teaching on-campus or on-line; and 6) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
