Regent University’s College of Arts and Sciences is seeking to fill an Assistant Professor position (at the .75 load) in Business, Leadership and Management department. The position is for either a Fall 2026 or January 2027 start.

We seek scholars who can support the current varied Business curriculum and potentially build unique course offerings to prepare students for careers in their chosen industry. The teaching load is based on the number of Student Credit Hours needed to be fulfilled for 12-month faculty. Evidence of successful teaching at the University level is preferred. Administrative experience in departmental process management is also a plus.
Qualifications: A terminal degree (D.B.A. or Ph.D.) preferred; minimum requirements include an MBA or related degree from an accredited institution with eighteen (18) graduate hours in several Business disciplines: either Business, Leadership, Management or Human Resource Management. The regional accrediting body requires a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours or extensive experience in a discipline in order for the candidate to teach a subject. Preference will be given to candidates who have professional certifications and the credit hours and flexibility to teach multiple subjects within the Business disciplines. Candidates with some industry-related experience preferred. Candidates will be asked to teach a combination of Management, HR and Business courses
Expectations include: 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) experience with online instructional technology (i.e. Canvas); 5) candidates will also be required to review and update curriculum for teaching on-campus or on-line; and 6) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
