Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill an adjunct faculty position in the General Education Department. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, VA, campus.

Qualifications: an earned PhD in philosophy from a regionally-accredited institution. The candidate should have at least 18 credit hours in philosophy or in philosophy-related subjects. The candidate should also be a generalist, able to teach interdisciplinary courses in our General Education curriculum, and he or she should also have proficiency in modern intellectual and cultural history. Candidates will be expected to teach on-campus.

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) familiarity with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
