Regent University's School of Divinity is seeking adjunct faculty in the areas of Missiology, Theology, Old Testament, New Testament, Practical Theology (applied pastoral ministry & worship) and Applied Ministry, Spiritual Formation, and Church History (early, medieval, modern), to teach at the Virginia Beach, VA, campus and online.
An earned terminal degree from a regionally accredited college, seminary, or university appropriate for the specific discipline is required (Ph.D. or equivalent, D.Min., D.W.S., D.Ed.Min). Expectations: 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) an evangelical faith with high view of the inspiration of the Scripture; 5) a commitment to and experience with the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit embodied in the Pentecostal and Charismatic Renewal movements; and 6) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith. Prior college teaching and ministry experience preferred in addition to proficiency with online instructional technology.
