Responsibilities:

  • Drive Regent University Athletic teams to and from away games
  • Follow all rules of the road to help ensure safe transport of passengers
  • Commitment to being a Christian role model in all interactions with student-athletes, coaches, and others
  • Demonstrate Christian/Biblical principles in words and actions that represent the values of Regent University

Requirements:

  • Good driving record required
  • Experience with driving athletic teams preferred
  • CDL preferred
  • Ability to drive vehicles with passenger limits ranging from vans to coach bus-size vehicles; vehicles that may be used to transport teams include but are not limited to: 15-passenger vans; 25-35 passenger vehicles (CDL Type-C); 40 or more passenger vehicle (CDL Type-B)
  • Flexible schedule that allows for night driving and occasional overnight stays
  • Commitment to Regent's core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity

Additional notes:  Hourly rate is paid only during actual driving time. Per diem is provided, and hotel stay is provided for overnight trips.
