Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Create engaging social media content including reels, videos, stories, photos, interviews, and student spotlights
  • Participate in on-camera content and serve as a student voice and representative for the office
  • Help develop creative social media campaigns and strategies to increase student awareness and engagement
  • Monitor and engage appropriately with social media interactions
  • Identify relevant trends and creative opportunities for student-centered content

Student Engagement & Outreach

  • Promote Academic Support, Career Services, Student Success programs, workshops, and events
  • Engage students through campus events, outreach initiatives, and social media
  • Help students understand how and when to access office resources
  • Gather student perspectives and feedback to help inform engagement efforts
  • Highlight student achievements, experiences, and success stories
  • Administrative duties such as organization, scheduling, correspondence, etc.

Requirements:

  • Education: Current on-campus student at Regent University continuing education
  • Experience with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other social media platforms; social media savvy
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools
  • Experience with video, photography, interviewing, or storytelling
  • Previous campus leadership, ambassador, peer mentor, or student organization experience
  • High-energy, enthusiastic, and personable
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Comfortable in front of a camera and interacting with students, faculty, and staff
  • Interested in leadership, communications, marketing, career development, or student success
  • Reliable, professional, and coachable
  • A positive influence among their peers
  • Passionate about helping other students succeed
  • Able to represent the university and office with professionalism, integrity, and respect

Salary: $14.00 per hour
