Responsibilities:

  • Assist faculty and staff with academic and administrative responsibilities.
  • Assist with logistical planning and execution for student organization special events, including luncheons, school functions, and guest speakers.
  • Assist with Robertson School of Government events.
  • Complete research and writing projects.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and compose letters, minutes, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong sense of initiative and a high level of efficiency in completing work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and to use diplomacy and discretion regarding student information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to innovate for process simplification or improvement.
  • High level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to Regent's core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity.

Desirable But Not Required

  • Experience creating and posting content to social media sites, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • A basic understanding of graphic design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic video editing software.

Salary:  $12.77 per hour
