The Assistant Director of Employer and Alumni Relations will manage employer and alumni outreach efforts to increase internship and post-graduate job opportunities for students and graduates while marketing and growing the Law School’s on- and off-campus recruitment programs.

Essential duties:

  • Assist the Office of Career & Alumni Services with employer relations including processing and tracking applications and setting interview schedules.
  • Create new pipelines of employment opportunities for students and alumni while posting and marketing all opportunities to students and alumni.
  • Manage the database of new and existing employers.
  • Communicate with employers multiple times throughout the year to identify their hiring needs and market opportunities.
  • Remain informed on hiring practices and practice areas.
  • Brief and advise students on opening as well as counseling students on networking and building their resume on an as-needed basis.
  • Oversee, plan, and execute law school alumni events (annual alumni and friends weekend, CLEs, class reunions, Zoom gatherings, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the Law School alumni board, develop agents/officers for each class, and host annual alumni board meetings.
  • Contact Alumni to pray with them and ask them to support the Law School through giving, internships, job postings, and mentorships.
  • Collaborate with Director of Advancement on email campaigns to alumni, including annual giving day, end-of-year campaigns, and monthly updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; significant office or administrative experience may be substituted in place of a degree 
  • Office management experience strongly preferred
  • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
