Regent University's School of Divinity is seeking adjunct faculty for chairing dissertations/ministry projects in all concentrations of the Doctor of Ministry program (Chaplain Ministry & Renewal and Christian Leadership & Renewal). Chairs will supervise candidate's research, provide support, and guide candidates throughout the entire process.

Dissertation/Ministry Project Chairs are required to review candidates' manuscripts within 2 weeks and provide practical and constructive feedback. Chairs are required to be familiar with the dissertation handbook policies and procedures, and they must ensure candidates follow the procedures within the dissertation handbook. They will respond to student communication within 48 hours on weekdays.

A regionally accredited D.Min or Ph.D. in a ministry related field from a college, seminary, or university with the completion of a traditional dissertation or ministry project is required. The candidate must have 5 or more years of graduate level teaching at an accredited college, seminary, or university, and prior chair or committee member experience. He or she must also have experience in qualitative or quantitative research methods based on official transcripts and use in a dissertation or ministry project.

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
